Freshman Cha Cha Williams shares her college experiences so far both on and off the court as well as how much it means to her to be a Hatter…

Being a freshman at Stetson is one of the most wonderful, yet challenging experiences of my life.  I say that for two reasons. One is that I have never been away from my parents and family for more than a week and it’s been about a month and a half so that’s kind of hard to get used to. The second thing is that it is a big adjustment going from high school to college on the court and in the classroom.  I am adjusting pretty well to college with the encouragement of my family and the help of my teammates and coaches.  I love being here, but I do kind of miss home.  I love being here and learning new things.
