Two Volusia County programs renew an old rivalry tonight as the Stetson Hatters and the Bethune-Cookman Lady Wildcats square-off at the Edmunds Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

Stetson (1-3) will be completing a busy stretch of three games in five days tonight.  The Hatters defeated Florida A&M at home on Friday, 88-67, before falling to Florida State in Tallahssee on Sunday, 76-44.

"Playing a team like Florida State really helps us see where we are and what we have to work on, and that's what we want to know right now in November," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said after Sunday's game.  "We are not going to worry about the record, we are just going to worry about getting better, and what we have to do to prepare for our league."

Bethune-Cookman (2-1), meanwhile, is coming off a 71-61 win over Florida Atlantic on Friday in Daytona Beach.  Amanda Hairston and Terrenisha Hollis each scored 14 points for the Lady Wildcats.

Tuesday will mark the 31st all-time meeting between the teams in a rivalry that dates backs to 1977.  B-CU leads the series 16-14, but the Hatters have won six of the last eight meetings, including last year's 82-64 victory at Moore Gym. Victoria McGowan flirted with a triple-double, scoring 27 points with nine rebounds and nine assists. Shanasa Sanders scored 20 points behind 10-of-10 shooting from the free throw line.

Fans can watch the game for free on HatterVision, or listen on the radio at 1230 AM in New Smyrna, 1490 AM in DeLand, or Bill Topping and Dee Romine will have the call.  Live Stats, the @StetsonWBB Twitter feed, and Hat-Alerts are also available for in-game updates.
