Stetson completes a busy stretch of four games in six days tonight as the Hatters visit their Volusia County rivals Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Moore Gym with live coverage on WSBB.

The Hatters (2-2) are coming off an impressive 90-74 home win over Indiana State on Monday.  Sasha Sims led the way with a season-high 24 points, to go along with four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

"Sasha played probably the most complete game I have seen her play in the years I have been here - offensively, defensively, scoring, making plays on the defensive end, and rebounding," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said.  "I was encouraged by that because we need her to do that."

Sims was one of five Hatters to score in double figures Monday.  Junior Cherisse Burris and freshman Brianti Saunders each scored 15 points, while Jama Sharp added 13 points and six assists and C.J. Coddington recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

"I was really impressed with Brianti Saunders," Bria said.  "She hit some key shots and made some key plays when they would go on a run.  You can't deny the fact that (Cherisse) Burris was just steady the whole game.  C.J. was getting defelections and getting steals.  We don't do anything without Jama Sharp.  She has quarterbacked our team very well throughout the year."

The Wildcats (1-2) lead the all-time series 16-15 over Stetson, but the Hatters won last year's meeting 66-52 in DeLand.

"They are a much improved team," Bria said about the Wildcats.  "Their guard play is outstanding.  They are going to play good defense and they going to be scrappy.  It's a tough environment.  They get a lot of people to come to their games.  It's also going to be a tough because its our fourth game after some long road trips.  We will have our work cut out for us."

After tonight, the Hatters will not play again until Nov. 29 at Florida State.

Fans can listen to the game on WSBB, AM 1490 DeLand, AM 1230 New Smyrna Beach, online at myam1230.com, and via the WSBB app for mobile devices.  Live stats, the @StetsonWBB twitter feed, and Hat-Alerts will also be available for in-game updates.
