The Stetson Women's Lightweight Varsity 8 has been ranked 10th in the nation in this week's USRowing Collegiate Poll. The Hatters are ranked among some elite competition such as Princeton, Stanford, Georgetown and MIT. Princeton garnered all eight first place votes and 160 points total as the top team. Next up on the poll in 2nd place is Stanford with 151 points and Wisconsin in 3rd with 143 points. Stetson earned 77 points in the 10th position. The Hatters are preceded by UMass in 9th (100 points) and followed by Georgia Tech (71 points) in the 11th position.

This weekend on Friday and Saturday the Stetson rowing team will head to Sarasota for the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association (FIRA) Championships.
