The Club DANCE team performed in their first competition over the weekend of March 23^rd. The competition was held at the Hyatt Hotel-Orlando Airport and was put on by JUMP, a competition and convention that travels nationally. The team performed two dances; one was a group featuring seven of the club members titled, Alive Again, and another was a trio featuring three of the clubs officers titled, You Make Me Feel. The girls received silvers for their performances and were noted by the judges for having great stage presence, appearance, and contagious smiles.

The girls also participated in a number of workshops with top dance instructors to improve upon their skills and help them advance in the different styles of dance including: hip-hop, contemporary, improve, ballet, tap, and jazz funk. Julie Martin, club president said, “Overall, it was an amazing experience and we received some great feedback on things we can improve for next year.”
