On October 22, 2010, the Stetson University Aikido Club traveled to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa to participate in the national martial arts clinic hosted by the United States Yoseikan Budo Association (USYBA). The trip was a monumental success for the club, not only because it was exciting for them to travel, but they had the opportunity to train with fellow martial artists from all over the country. While the Aikido Club is part of the national organization, the techniques practiced are shared by people around the globe. The Aikido Club returned to campus energized and excited about the possibility of growing their club on campus.
