Stetson Club Sports is proud to announce the addition of the Stetson Skydive Club! This club has been in the works for over three years with the persistence and dedication of Stetson alumni, Alex Bittner ’10 and Jessica Spreng ’10. Now, Alex and Jessica are active within the club as coaches and mentors. The club is currently under the leadership of sophomore, Matthew Brown, who is the current president.

The home drop zone of the Skydive Club will be Skydive DeLand, located at 1600 Flight Line Boulevard, DeLand, FL. The club seeks to become active in competitions as soon as possible under the United States Parachute Association (USPA). The club is open to current students who have experience in skydiving as well as those who are interested in learning more about the sport.

Stetson Skydive Club will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, April 12^th at 7:00pm in the Hollis Center Classroom.  Students who are interested in joining the club should attend the meeting or contact Matthew Brown if you cannot attend.
