The Men's Lacrosse Club hosted their first Fall Ball season game and fell short to the Eagles. The team has grown this past year in numbers and experience and was able to strike back against ERAU, but their efforts weren't enough. The Eagles had control of the game for the majority of the game. The Hatters were able to put a few goals on the board. The first of which was scored by Dan Cote, a freshman, who scored in the second quarter after ERAU took a 8-0 lead. Dan's goal was followed up by junior, Alex Setaro to close the gap to 8-2. The Eagles didn't back down and swooped in to score two more goals on the new goalie for the Hatters, Sam Horowitz. The Hatters kept fighting through the second half and a change in goalie to Alex Grisham who only let up three goals in the 3rd quarter. The Hatters spirits started to dwindle as the game progressed and the Eagles took advantage spreading their lead to 18 goals. The Hatters fell 20-2, but showed significant improvement from their last exhibition match against the Eagles just a few weeeks ago. The Hatters next match will be in Orlando on November 6th vs. the Orlando Geckos another FLL team.
