The Stetson Men's Club Soccer team hosted a newly formed Embry Riddle Men's Club team this past weekend in a match. Things kicked off on the Hatters home grass of Rinker Field at 2pm on Saturday, November 19th. It was an overcast day that these boys were looking to add some sunshine to with a little season ending victory. As the game progressed Stetson had a few good looks to score, but went into the half tied up 0-0. About the 30 minute mark in the second half Emmanuel Delgado rips a shot on goal from just past the center circle and puts it in the back of the net to put the Hatters up 1-0 on ERAU. Riddle was not giving up though and put together a quick score just 10 minutes later. Alfonzo Rojos came in to finish off a rebounded shot and Michael Rashidi, Stetson goalie, couldn't do anything to stop it. The Hatters didn't get another solid look and the game ended in a tie, 1-1. The boys showed great heart and had a great first season.
