Susan Scaggs is a sophomore discovery major from Durham, North Carolina. Along with being a member of Stetson’s Multi-Sport Club, or the Triathlon Club, Susan is involved in other organizations at Stetson.  She is a student ambassador and a member of the school’s quiz bowl team.  Susan was attracted to the Multi-Sport Club when a friend of hers wanted to join and they joined together.  When she heard about the club she was excited to join. 

Susan wanted to be involved in a sports club at Stetson, but did not have the time to commit to a varsity team, so Club sports was the perfect fit for her. In Susan’s first sprint triathlon of the year at Moss Park on September 16, she finished first in her division (women’s 15-19).  The Multi-Sport club has also given her opportunities to volunteer.  Susan traveled to Augusta, Georgia, to volunteer at the Ironman Augusta 70.3.  Susan wishes to be an involved member of the Multi-Sport Club in the future, and one way she hopes that one day she will be an officer of the club.
