New Stetson University women’s lacrosse coach Nicole Moore will partner with Rollins College head coach Dennis Short to host a coaches clinic on Saturday, January 7, in Eatonville, Fla.
The clinic will be held at Hungerford Prep from 1-5 p.m. and is designed specificially for high school coaches, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. The cost of the clinic is $40 per person and you must reserve your spot by January 3. Bring your sticks because this is going to be an active clinic, held on the field for hands on demos of stick skills, shooting, as well as on and off ball attack and defense. You will be coached as if you were a players, minus the conditioning of course. The best way to learn something is by actually doing it yourself, and you will have a chance to actually use many of the skills necessary to become a successful lacrosse player. You will also be given specific details on how to instruct your players. The clinic will also cover many team concepts you can introduce to help your kids play as a more successful unit.
