Nashville, Tenn. - The Stetson men's tennis team improved to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic Sun Conference with a 7-0 sweep of host Belmont (4-8, 0-5 A-Sun) Friday afternoon in the Music City.  All six Hatter competitors won in singles and doubles.

The Hatters outlasted the Bruins in three hard-fought doubles matches, including a 9-8 win by sophomores Maksim Levanovich (Minsk, Belarus) and Cesare Gallo (Portogruaro, Italy) over Felipe Cirne Lima and Zach Zola at the #2 position.

Five of the six Stetson singles players won their matches in straight sets with only senior Mark Mestan (Cologne, Germany) getting pushed to three before surviving.  Levanovich, freshman Didrik Berg (Oslo, Norway) and junior Alex Hackett (Surrey, England) all won their matches with just four lost games each.

The Hatters look to sweep the Nashville road trip when they visit Lipscomb tomorrow at 10 a.m. CT (11 a.m. ET).
