Nick Holmes joined Stetson as a volunteer assistant volleyball coach in July 2011 and enters his second season with the Hatters in 2012.

Holmes, a former captain in the United States Air Force and a graduate of the USAFA, came to Stetson from Nashville, Tennessee, where he has been working towards an MBA from Vanderbilt while directing the Alliance Volleyball Club organization and serving as assistant coach at Centennial High School in nearby Franklin, Tenn. 

Holmes has been involved with USA Volleyball and served as a player/head coach for travel volleyball teams at Minot and Vanderberg Air Force Bases during his days in uniform. He is currently serving as an assistant for the USA Girls Youth National A2 Team.
