Johnson City, Tenn. - Sophomore goalkeeper Andreas Schnabl (Blaichach, Germany), the reigning A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week, made five saves to record his second straight shutout Friday evening as the visiting Stetson men's soccer team (4-5-2, 1-1-1 A-Sun) played defending conference tournament champion ETSU (7-4-2, 1-3-1 A-Sun) to a 0-0 draw in double overtime at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

The Hatters were iron men throughout the match as 10 of the 11 Stetson starters went all 110 minutes without a substitution. Stetson outshot the Buccaneers 15-11 but neither team could put a ball between the pipes; ETSU goalkeeper Ryan Coulter made three saves to keep his team in it and leave both teams taking one point each in the conference standings. Schnabl made three of his five saves in the overtime periods

Stetson concludes its road weekend with a 12:00 pm Sunday start at USC Upstate. A link to Live Stats is available at GoHatters.com; fans can watch the match through ASun.TV.
