Over this past weekend, nine students and members of the Shooting Club attended the Southeast Fall Invitational Collegiate Shoot in Jacksonville, FL. The shoot was hosted by the Jacksonville Gun Club which is the home site for both the UNF and JU Shooting teams. None of the Hatters had a break out performance and the leaderboard was filled with shooters from Clemson. This is the third competitive shoot that the Scholar Shooters have been a part of and with time and practice their skills and aim are improving.

In talking with the president of the club, Kyle Bass, he commented on the weekend stating that "we did ok, but we could've done a lot better." Kyle reiterated about the youth of the club and shooters on the team, but still sounded confident in their ability to make it to nationals and compete in the ACUI 44th Intercollegiate Clay Target Championships in San Antonio, TX.
