On Saturday, December 10th, the Shooting Club took aim with four other schools in a shooting competition that included skeet and trap. Stetson matched up against ERAU, UF, UNF, and JU and competed at the home facility of Flagler Gun & Archery Club which is sharred between the ERAU club and the Stetson club. The Stetson club was comprised of eight shooters: Kyle Bass, James Duryea, Scarlett McCoy, Michael Marco, Blake Libby, Bryan Balcer, Ryan Stanford, and Chas Stikeleather. The team placed third overall and Scarlett won the Highest Overall Female Award.
The Shooting Club is progressively getting better and working diligently to make the ACUI Clay Target Championships in San Antonio, TX which will be held in late March. The Club is very thankful for their coach and mentor Dr. Richard Libby, and their coaching staff out at FGAC. The club since the start this year has come a long way from their initial orientation and shooter safety courses.
