DeLand, Fla. - Stetson women's basketball head coach Lynn Bria and her staff will host three summer camps next month at the Edmunds Center. Each camp is geared towards one of three groups: individual high school-aged players, teams and younger children.
Hatter Elite Camp
June 22-23
All high school players are invited to join Coach Bria, her staff, and Hatter players as they will conduct a camp geared toward individual instruction and overall competition. Also included are 3 games in which camper's instruction is then relayed into actual competition. Resident campers stay overnight in the Stetson dorms. Meals provided by Stetson Dining Services.
9th-12th grades; Cost - Resident: $125 ($50 deposit); Commuter: $100 ($50 deposit); Check-In: June 22 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Edmunds Center.
Hatter Shootout
June 23-24
The Hatter Shootout is a team event. It is a fun and intense environment designed to challenge each team to compete as a group. Teams will participate in at least five games.
Middle School, JV & Varsity divisions
Cost: $325 per team ($195-Sat. only; $130-Sun. only)
Housing: area hotels only (reserved by team's coach)
Contact Nicole Woods for preferred hotel listing, or for discount rates for bringing multiple teams.
Check-in: 8am on June 23 @ Edmunds Center
**Each team please bring own balls and jerseys.
Lil' Hatters Day Camp
June 25-27
Lil' Hatters will learn to dribble, pass, shoot, defend and be a part of a team. Games, races and lots of one-on-one attention assure a fun time.
3rd-8th Grades
Cost: $150, $75 deposit .. Registration & Deposit due by June 11, 2012
Check-in: 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. on June 25 @ Edmunds Center
Camp times: 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. each day (fee for late pick-up)
**Please bring a sack lunch each day!
