AUSTIN, TX - Stetson University, a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference and the Pioneer Football League, has selected ACS Athletics as its recruiting and operational technology provider. The Hatters will implement technology solutions in the areas of recruiting, compliance monitoring and roster management in an effort to improve staff performance, reduce risk, and provide coaches with cutting-edge recruiting tools.
"With the ongoing growth of the Stetson Athletics program, we recognized the need to be more efficient in managing the recruiting process," Stetson University Director of Athletics Jeff Altier said. "But, streamlining and simplifying the recruiting process is just part of what our partnership with ACS will allow our staff to do. We will be able to better manage and track student-athletes throughout their time at Stetson in order to provide the best possible experience for each student.
"From recruitment, to academics, health care and publicity, our partnership with ACS will enable our staff to better serve the needs of every student-athlete through their years of competition and on to the ultimate goal, graduation."
With ACS Athletics InControlTM software, Stetson will automate many of the paper-driven processes that previously existed within the department and streamline the management of recruiting and student-athlete information. Further, ACS solutions will allow Stetson coaches to focus more on building relationships in the recruiting process and enhancing the experience of current student-athletes.
"Its exciting to be working with a growing athletics program such as Stetson University," said Phillip Engle, ACS President and CEO. "Jeff and his staff are committed to operating a competitive athletics program with integrity, and our team is excited about helping the Stetson staff and coaches succeed at a very high level for years to come."
