Kevin Jurenko began as the Equipment Room Supervisor for Stetson Athletics in July of 2012.  He is in charge of ordering, distributing, fitting, and maintaining all Stetson equipment throughout the season, specifically working with football, men's and women's soccer, and lacrosse. Jurenko also oversees the other two equipment managers in the department.

He comes to Stetson following a five year stint at Tennessee State University as Head Equipment Manager.  Before TSU, Jurenko served as head equipment manager at Sacred Heart University, and spent time working at both Marshall and Virginia.  Before TSU, Jurenko served as head equipment manager at Sacred Heart University for two years, working with many teams including the Pioneers' football program.

Jurenko has worked as a graduate assistant equipment manager with Marshall University from 2000-2001, and as an assistant with football at the University of Virginia during the 2003-04 season.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Marshall in 1999.  While working as a student manager with the football program at Marshall, Jurenko was a part of the Thundering Herd's FCS National Championship and four Mid-American Conference Championships.

Jurenko is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers' Association and a member of the American Football Coaches Association.  Kevin is married to the former Elizabeth Landrum of Palm Harbor, Fla.
