Meghan Bryant begins her first season as interim head coach for the Stetson Sand Volleyball program. She is in her second year as an assistant coach for the Hatters indoor volleyball program.
For the past 10 years, Bryant has been an AAA and Open-level indoor, beach women’s, and coed volleyball player. Bryant also has many years of experience coaching high school, club, and beach volleyball in the Carolinas and Florida. Before coming to Stetson, she served as the assistant varsity volleyball coach at Hough High School (Cornelius, N.C.), and has been a head coach with the Lake Norman Volleyball Club, coaching Gold and Platinum 15U, 16U, and 18U teams. Bryant also helped to start and coach for All-in-Play NC Beach Juniors from 2007-2009. From 2008-09 she was the head varsity volleyball coach at United Faith Christian Academy in Charlotte.
A four-year starter and senior captain on the Davidson College women's basketball team, Bryant earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Davidson College in 2004.
Bryant also spent five years with Bank of America Corporation in Charlotte and New York, where she worked in the Global Corporate Investment Banking division and the Financial Protection Services and Innovation division. Bryant is also currently a certified yoga instructor and worked as a certified personal trainer from 2004-07.
