Sophomore Colleen O'Kennedy and junior Amber Grose both
received preseason accolades recently. O'Kennedy
was named to the College Sports Madness First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference,
while both were recognized in Top Drawer Soccer's Top 20 List for the A-Sun.
O'Kennedy, who was recently named to the A-Sun's official
Preseason All-Conference Team, earned a spot as one of four midfielders to be
honored by College Sports Madness. She
was also ranked as the third best player in the league in Top Drawer Soccer's
Top 20 for the A-Sun.
In her first season with the Hatters after transferring from
USF, Grose also earned a spot on Top Drawer Soccer's Top 20 List. She was ranked 19th in the league,
and made Stetson one of seven schools with multiple players on the list. FGCU and ETSU led the way with four honorees
a piece.
