Was selected as a preseason All-American (third team) by USA Football ... Was named to the preseason All-PFL team.

Freshman (2013): Was selected as a second team All-PFL player at defensive back ... Was a starter in all 11 games for the Hatters ... Finished seventh on the team in total tackles with 39, including 26 solo stops ... Had a season-high nine total tackles against Birmingham-Southern (9/21) ... Led the PFL and ranked fourth in the nation in interceptions with six ... Recorded his first pick in the season-opener against Warner (8/31) ... Had a pick six in the game against Birmingham-Southern (9/21), returning the interception 48 yards ... Had single interceptions against Dayton (10/12) and Marist (10/26) ... Had a pair of picks against Jacksonville (11/16) ... Also had a fumble recovery against JU ... Finished the year with nine total pass breakups. 

High School: Went to Trinity Christian Academy for three years before finishing at The Potter's House Christian Academy … Played corner back and receiver during his career … Was named defensive player of the week after having two interceptions and four tackles in one game … Was a member of the 2010 TCA state championship team and the 2011 PHCA state and national championship team. 

Personal: Full name is Christopher Marquis Atkins … Was born on August 2, 1994, in Jacksonville, Fla. … Parents are Johnetta and Rafael Atkins … Has two brothers, Rafael, Jr. (23) and Daryl Bouchee, and one sister, Johneshia Bouche (26) … Chose Stetson because of the opportunity to leave a legacy and because it is close to home … Is a Digital Arts major.
