Over the
weekend Stetson’s Men Soccer Club traveled to Tampa to face University of South
Florida. After rain delayed the beginning of the game, the Hatters started off
slow but quickly regained the pace of play to keep up with the fast running
Bulls. Though the Hatters fell to USF
6-0 on a wet field, the score did not reflect how close the flow of play
was. The Hatters had six scoring
opportunities, and controlled the ball well.
The Hatters played the game with high intensity and according to goalie,
Michael Tatti, this game “exposed some things the team needs to work on for
upcoming games.” The Hatters will be hosting a double header versus University
of Central Florida and Lynn University this Saturday, September 15th.
