WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Stetson women's tennis team finished day two of play at the Wake Forest Invitational Saturday with two Hatters advancing to play for a championship on Sunday.

In the E singles draw, Jen Miller defeated Viviana Stavreva (Elon) 6-1, 6-1 and then beat Brigita Bercyte (WFU) 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the championship. She will take on Alice Garcia (Winthrop) in the final.

In the F singles draw, MayaBlue Stauffer-Macdowell defeated Mikaela Carlson (Navy) 6-1, 6-4 and followed that with a win over Stefanie Ton (Navy) 6-1, 7-5. She will face off against Briana Berne (Elon) in the final.

In the A singles draw, Sara Lazarevic started her day with a win over Brites Moniz-Soares (Davidson) 7-5, 1-6, 6-3 but later fell to Audrey Wooland (WVU) 6-0, 6-0. Andrea Crespo won both of her matches in the A singles draw, defeating Emani Decquir (Navy) 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 and Melissa Kandinata (Richmond) 6-3, 0-6, 7-6 (3).

In the B singles draw, Diana Bukajeva defeated Emily Gitman (Richmond) 6-1, 7-5 in her first match. She fell to Bryn Khoury (Elon) in the semifinals 6-2, 6-4. She will face off against Giovanna Portiolli (Winthrop) in the third place match.

Lindsey Cable won her first match in the D singles draw, defeating Natasha Afridi (Campbell) 6-0, 6-3 but fell to Alex Tachovksy (Louisville) 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. She will play against Emily Mathis (WVU) in the third place match on Sunday. Rachel Luke, the other Hatter in the F singles draw, fell to Cassie Fisbeck (Navy) 6-1, 6-3.

In the A doubles draw, Bukajeva and Crespo fell to Hailey Barrett and Ikttesh Chahal (WVU), losing 9-7. In the B doubles draw, Lazarevic and Miller were defeated by Alexandra Zinn and Natsuko Takayanagi (UNCC) 8-4.

In the C singles draw, the duo of Stauffer-MacDowell and Cable lost to Stavreva and Berne (Elon). They will take on Darien Sears and Fisbeck (Navy) on Sunday.
