Robbie Aaron, Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Daytona Cubs, begins his first season as play-by-play announcer for Stetson men's basketball. In addition to his experience with the minor league baseball team, which included the honor of broadcasting the 2011 FSL All-Star Game, Aaron has also had stints working with ESPN Radio, SNY, WFAN, and broadcasted in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Aaron will be joined by Ryan Rouse on color commentary for home contests. Rouse has been working with Stetson Athletics over the past year, calling play-by-play for baseball, soccer and volleyball.
The Stetson men's basketball team will also compete in five televised games during the regular season. On Nov. 9 the Hatters' game at Miami will be featured on ESPN3. Stetson will then appear on CSS in a Dec. 21 contest at UCF. The Hatters return to ESPN3 for a doubleheader with the women's basketball team, as both squads host Lipscomb on Jan. 19. A pair of games against FGCU (Fort Myers, Jan. 25 and DeLand, Feb. 22) will also be televised on CSS as a part of the A-Sun Game of the Week series.
