MACON, Ga. - Three members of Stetson's
men's soccer team were honored by the Atlantic Sun Conference on Tuesday
afternoon. Seniors Jonathan Mendoza,
Luis Ocejo, and Kai Eckenrode all earned postseason accolades from the league
for their performances during the 2012-13 campaign.
earned First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference honors for the third straight
season. An NSCAA Third Team All-American
last year, the Stetson midfielder scored one goal and tallied a team-high three
assists for a total of five points in 2012-13.
Mendoza finished his career with 22 assists, the second most in Stetson

has added second straight Capital One Academic All-District accolades after

over North Florida marked the first hat trick of his career, and the only one
in the A-Sun this season. Eckenrode
finished his career with 14 goals and 12 assists for a total of 40 points.

the Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, which recognizes
student-athletes who excelled both on and off the field during the 2012-13
season. Only 11 players in the league earned
this recognition, and Ocejo was one of only four unanimous selections.
