The Stetson softball team will try to get back to the .500 mark in Atlantic Sun Conference play this weekend as the Hatters host ETSU for a three-game series beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at Patricia Wilson Field.

The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday starting at 1 p.m.  The broadcasts for all three games of the series will be available on HatterVision and ASun.TV.

With a conference record of 8-11, the Hatters (25-18 overall) trail seventh-place Mercer by one game and sixth-place Kennesaw State by two games in the A-Sun standings.

The weather forecast calls for a 60% chance of rain for Saturday.

"It is important we get these games in, we need the wins," Stetson head coach Frank Griffin said. "I would like to see a little more consistency from our pitching staff.  Meredith (Owen) has been doing a fine job and Taylor (Cochran) has been doing well when she has pitched, but we need Courtney (Brandt) to step up and get back to pitching the way she is capable of pitching."

The Hatters will honor seniors Jordan Cleghorn and Chelsea Whalley prior to the doubleheader on Saturday.
