Stetson University Rowing
Spring Training Site
Lake Beresford is home to Stetson Rowing. With access to over 200 miles of protected water with minimum currents and no tidal action, Lake Beresford allows for perfect rowing conditions year round.
Site and Facility
Lake Beresford is 2.2 miles long and a half mile wide. The St. John's River runs through the lake allowing rowable access to Jacksonville (100 miles North) and Melbourne (200 miles South) if you're feeling adventurous!
Stetson's facility sits on 10 acres of land with easy access to the water from two open docks. Boat racks are set up on the waters edge for easy boat storage.
Rentals and Fees
We offer our launches, engines, equipment and ergs to rent based on availability.
Launch and engine rentals are also available from local marinas.
Dock Fee: For the use of our site, there is a fee based on the number of athletes per day.
* There is a minimum per athlete per day fee for dock usage.
Accommodations and Dining
There are multiple hotels and cabin rentals within close proximity to the boathouse and campus.
Access to Stetson's Dining Hall is available for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Pricing is per person and can be coordinated before hand through Dining Services.

MOTOR BOAT RENTALS
There are only a few options for renting launches.

- Nice 12-14 foot aluminum boats with 4-stroke 15hp or 20hp outboards, delivered to the boathouse.
2. Hontoon Marina 386-734-2474
3. Stetson may have 2-3 launches (without engines) available to rent; $10/day for the hull.
