High School: Haddad attended Ohio Valley Christian School for first two years of high school before transferring to the IMG Academy for his final two seasons. He was a member of the National Honor Society. Haddad won West Virginia State Championships in 2010 and 2011 with the WVSC Wizards. He earned All-Region honors and was named Team MVP as a sophomore at Ohio Valley Christian. Haddad was also named Most Improved Player as a junior at IMG. While at Ohio Valley Christian, he set a school record with 26 goals as a sophomore.

Personal: Full name is Alexander Afif Haddad. Son of Julia and Jamal Haddad. Has three siblings; Noah, Andre, and Rachel. Majoring in biology.
