Prior to Stetson
- Attended Clarence High where she played for coach Kori Grasha
- Earned the WNY Scholar-Athlete Award all four years of high school
- Was the Clarence White Letter Award Winner
- Won Leadership and Coaches Awards
- Helped her team to a sectional title as an eighth grader, placing ninth as an individual
- Team posted a third place finish in the state her freshman year with her earning fifth individually
- Team earned a second place finish in the state her sophomore year
- State tournament was canceled her junior year, but her team earned a sectional title with her placing second
- Finished high school with a 4.0 GPA

- Is the daughter of Jeff and Amy Leach
- Has two brothers - Mason (born on May 19, 2006) and Carter (born on April 19, 2008)
- Enjoys working as a lifeguard during the summer
- Plans to major in Biology on tract for pre-med with plans to go to medical school
