Hall of Fame
A six-foot tall center from Orlando, Dallas Boychuk made her mark on both ends of the basketball court during her years as a Stetson Hatter (1982-86). Boychuk ended her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer (1,457 points) and rebounder (976), a record which still stands as of 2020. As a senior, Boychuk helped usher the Hatters into the conference era by earning first-team All-ASUN honors during Stetson’s first year in the league when she averaged 15.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Following graduation Boychuk played professionally before beginning a coaching career during which she made stops at Stetson, Louisville, Purdue and Hawaii, in addition to spending five seasons as the head coach at Long Beach State. She was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998.
