Nick Colantuono grew up in Cliffside Park, N.J., where he played football and baseball. He came to Stetson to play football and was known as “the 60-minute man” because he played on both sides of the ball. Colantuono went on to play for the semi-pro Daytona Thunderbirds. He also served in the U.S. Army as 2nd Lieutenant upon graduating. Colantuono was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 1980.
