The Naples, Fla., product capped her award-winning, record-setting career by being named as the 1998 ASUN Player of the Year as a senior. A four-time, first-team All-ASUN selection as a pitcher, Bonnici was also named to the second team as a third baseman. She established nine school records while at Stetson. Bonnici threw three no-hitters including two her freshman year, against Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman, and one her senior year against Dartmouth. Bonnici finished her career ranked in the top ten of many school records such as stolen bases (40), earned run average in a season (1.10), assists in a season (151), career stolen bases (100), consecutive stolen bases (34), runs scored (108), hits (185), sacrifices hit (31), appearances (133), games started (120), complete games (105), innings pitched (837), strikeouts (505), career earned run average (1.56), assists (504), wins (68), shutouts (23). She was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004.
