After transferring to Stetson from Cincinnati, Sanders helped elevate the Stetson women's basketball program to elite status. In her two seasons, the Hatters twice set school records for most victories in a season, posting 23 victories in 2011-12 and 24 wins in 2012-13.Â
As a senior, Sanders earned second team All-Conference honors after ranking fourth in the league in scoring (13.8) and 11th in rebounding (6.5). Â Her stellar play in the ASUN Championship helped Stetson capture the conference title and advance to the NCAA tournament for just the third time in school history.
Sanders was a two-time ASUN Player of the Week, a four-time ASUN Newcomer of the Week, a Hatter Classic MVP, and she earned the ASUN Cron's Achiever Award for February, 2013. The Jacksonville, Fla. Native is a two-time Stetson graduate, earning her Bachelor's Degree in 2013 and her Master's Degree in 2021.
Sanders played professionally for four years, making stops in the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Spain, and Bahrain.
