Stetson University Athletics

Jim Kitchens lettered four seasons with the Stetson basketball team (1954-58). Helped lead the Hatters to the 1957 NAIA District 25 championship by averaging 13.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Kitchens averaged 16.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 1957-58, the first season for the Hatters under the legendary Glenn Wilkes. Kitchens was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame.
