One of the top point guards of the Glenn Wilkes era, Frank Ireland was inducted into the Stetson Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000. The Boynton Beach, Fla., native ended his career as Stetson’s all-time leader with 526 assists, averaging 4.5 per game for his career. Ireland also set the single-season assist record with 171 in 1989-90. More than just a distributor, Ireland was a terrific shooter. He shot 42 percent from 3-point range over his career and left Stetson as the school’s all-time leader with 127 career steals. He was the 16th Hatter to reach 1,000 career points, finishing his career with 1,113 points scored.
